A Summer Camp in Winter

"The most important thing was that they stay together."

"Well, they were assigned to a cabin, and like I said, there were 1000 children on this transport. There were already children that were there from other countries. And what they were told to do was to make themselves as much at home as they could, and that people would come from other parts of England to take them back to their communities. And the most important thing to my mother and Aunt Hiddie was that they stay together, because they had lost so much already."
