Elon was a fun place, and Elon bragged to the fact that they have more successful students per capita than any other school in the United States. That's pretty good. But now it has gotten to be an exclusive school. But everybody worked when I went. Everybody was poor, because it was poor times....

We played silly games like 'Red Rover, Red Rover, Send Buster Brown Over.'

We didn’t have much to do.
