This building on Auburn Avenue, the vibrant heart of Atlanta's black community during most of the 20th century, was home to the Atlanta Daily World from 1944 until 2008 when a tornado severely damaged the building. Purchased in 2014, the building is being preserved and used adaptively as a mixed-use development.
