Although this photograph was taken in Tuskegee Alabama by a fellow U.S. Army photographer, Scott tells a story in his oral history of encountering a journalist colleague who photographed him in London and then misrepresented the photograph as depicting him in a warehouse in the U.S. before shipping overseas to Europe.
