Eleanor Roosevelt meets future Tuskegee Airmen, Cecil Peterson, on her visit to Quoddy Village, Maine. Quoddy Village was home to the National Youth Administration, a WPA project that offered work experience to high school students impacted by the Depression. This image is of a photograph that Peterson sent Roosevelt to later reminisce on their first meeting.
