Memorial to individuals killed at Camp Ganacker

Camp Ganacker in der Erlau was a satellite camp of Flossenbürg concentration camp and started in 1945. From 2 March to 23 April 1945, 149 inmates were killed. The victims were buried at St. Sebastian church in Wallersdorf. Here are now two memorials. The graves were transferred in 1957 to the cemetery at the Flossenbürg remembrance place.
ID: A stone marker engraved with the words “Nier Ruhen 89 Kz-Haftlinge Aus Dem Lager Ganacker,” then a cross symbol followed by “April 1945 Umgebettet Im April 1957 Auf Dem Kzehrenfriedhof Flossenburg Den Toten Zur Ehre.” A path leads up to the marker, and vines grow on connecting stone walls.
