Transcription: Gunner in France, Germany and Austria was in combat with 392nd Field Artillery Battalion as a Gunner in a 105-mm howitzer section. Set horizontal angle from established position by means of a panoramic sight, and manipulated traversing hand wheel to lay gun on target. Changed angular deflection as directed by Battery Executive Officer. As activity demanded gunner assisted in moving, emplacing, displacing and withdrawing of gun.
