Group hospitalization is available at a minimum cost for those who desire it. While your position will be exempted from certain Civil Service regulations, you will earn annually twenty-six (26) days of leave with pay, which will be approved according to general War Department policy. You will have the sick leave and retirement fund privileges which apply to government employment. The continuation of your employment for the length of the War and not to exceed six months thereafter is assured under Civil Service Rules. The normal hours of work will be from 8:00 a.m. to 4:45 p.m., but you will be required to rotate regularly on other shifts. Your transportation costs to Arlington will be paid. Your services are vitally needed now. Will you be able to say “I have done my part” when the War is successfully won? This is your opportunity!
